Kickstarter Alert:
Who is the Super Wizard? He's a pre-code otherworldly hero who would take down villains using strange and somewhat disturbing (even for the time) methods that could manipulate matter and defy the laws of physics. Joey Peters is bringing the character back into action and you can get in on it! Back the project and get a digital copy for as little as $1 here! Also pick up I Shall Destroy All Civilized Planets for some of the Fletcher hanks peculiar hero. It's REALLY wacky stuff.

Kaare Kyle Andrews takes down the 1%, 1% at a time in this title. An orphan impersonating a billionaire sees the unfeeling corruption that money has brought to the rich and sets out as The Freelancer to set things right. Unforgiving, raw, and brilliant, Renato Jones can be yours through Comixology (or at your LCS of course).

Danny Zabbal bridges magic between the past and present in this series. Amelia is a girl who has experienced a great loss that has shut her out from everyone. However, she realizes she may need to be more concerned with the ominous voice in her head, and what's looking for it. Pick this up digitally, here.

What we have here s a tale by Luke Howard that feels very real, very human. W young woman is trying to find the proper place for herself in the big city. When she sees an opening at a phone sex agency she decides to give it a shot. Humor, realism, and just the right amount of peculiarity can be found in Talk Dirty to Me, available from the publisher, AdHouse.

Frank Martin's anthology collects 3 very different stories about the forces of faith. From fallen angels to demons to Horsemen of the apocalypse, the book has some very interesting interpretations of a few different religious ideas. With art talents by Federico Zumel, Branko Jovanovic, and Tomasz Witas not to mention a ton of content, Modern Testament is well worth the price of admission. Pick it up from Insane Comics.

In a dystopian future, the planets surface has become pretty uninhabitable. This has forced many people to take airships and live in the skies. Join Cola and Tug as they work to protect The Dawn, a highly sought after airship that doesn't require fuel. This triumphant epic is written by Mike Raicht, with art by Zach Howard and colors by Nelson Daniel. Pick the book up in any format from IDW Publishing.

A Chat w/Magdalene Visaggio
Magdalene Visaggio is the writer of the brand new Black Mask Comics series, Kim & Kim. She joins me on the show to talk about what the series is, how she got into comics, an in depth description of who each of the Kims are, and how she met the artistic duo of Eva Cabrera and Claudia Aguirre. (By the way, those artists also made a publication that you should check out called Boudika Comics that you should check out.) Make sure to pick up the new book Kim & Kim this Wednesday and follow Magdalene on Twitter for even more info on the series at MagsVisaggs.

Nostalgia Corner:
The Pink Ranger is no longer the Pink Ranger. She is now the expert gymnast, Kimberly and things are going pretty alright. However, when she goes to visit her mom and everyone in town has disappeared, she must call on her old abilities and solve this mystery. This fantastic call back to the original series is written by Brendan Fletch and Kelly Thompson, with art by Daniele Di Nicuolo. Pick the book up from BOOM! Studios.
