You all know the story of King Midas! Do you know the story of a small crew fighting an empire over his body, which is an absolute doomsday device? Well now's your chance!  Captain Joey and her crew consisting of Fatima and a dinosaur-esque character named Cooper are following a lead on a planet made of gold, little do they know the tyrannical Federation is also on the hunt. Ryan North has created a story that has everything everyone loves about sci-fi and throws in his own brand of humor and clever plot/dialogue, resulting in an absolutely fantastic tale (one of my favorites). Shelli Paroline & Braden Lamb, who you may have previously seen working on the Adventure Time series (with North) together, join and ad some incredible clolor schemes to the vacuum of space, as well as stunning illustrations of King Midas' effect , massive space battles, and some strange creatures. This trio on this book spells absolute success, listen in to hear much much more.

Gisele Lagace joins me to discuss her begins as a musician, her early comic works, her time with Archie Comics and of course, we also delve deep into the work that she has done on her webcomics, including Menage a 3, Eerie Cuties, and more at Pixie Trix Comix. Lots of great information about some excellent series and a fun conversation in general. Check them out and hear what else she is up to on this interview. By the way, if you haven't read Menage a 3 yet, you're really missing out, so get on it!

Nostalgia corner presents: my childhood. This chapter is titled, Rocko's Modern Life. With characters that are always fun and humor that actually translates today... I actually liked this comic. If you find this in a bargain bin, then I say go for it. You can witness panels with modern parallels just like this:
