MCC #19- Wayward vol.1 w/KCosplayer

Well hellooooooo! Here we are ONCE again for another team-up episode of Music City Comics! If you would like to listen to this fine piece of podcasting then go ahead and give a listen in iTunes by clicking... HERE! You can also check it out on PodOmatic, if you so choose. Let's begin!

Wayward vol. 1: String Theory

Writer: Jim Zub
Artist: Steve Cummings
Colors: John Rausch, Tamra Bonvillain

Wayward tells the story of a young girl named Rori who goes to live with her mother in Tokyo. Upon arriving, things get very strange for her, as she begins to see monsters and individuals with peculiar abilities. Can this all be connected? Only one way to find out... read the book!

Jim Zub brings his knack for creating likable characters to this story and throws in some creatures from Japanese mythology. The result is an enjoyable tale through Tokyo in a way that hasn't been done before. Aiding the fine crafted dialogue is the fine crafted art by Steve Cummings. Cummings brings the city to life and draws some action sequences that back a serious punch! Listen to the podcast for more details on this creative team.

On this podcast I was joined by Kassandra Cosplayer, a pretty darn cool young lady who gets to interview other cosplayers and work with Midtown Comics! To see more of her costumes or just say hello, head to Twitter and tweet to @kcosplayer. She's on Instagram under the same name, but here's a link just for kicks! Check her out to see some neat costumes!

Well if you made it this far then I'm assuming you have listened to this episode OR plan on it. Either way, thanks! If you'd like to get in touch with me to suggest reads or even show me something you've been cooking up you can shoot an email to or hit me up on Twitter at JustDrewVG

Now's where I get... needy. If you like what you've heard today, or any day for that matter, please head over to iTunes and rate this podcast. Good ratings help this podcast get found which helps these stories/creative teams get more discovered and YOU will get some good reads out of it, a real win win win! ONE MORE THING! If you want to help a brother out, there is a Paypal box on the left sidebar for some good karma donations OR you can click the Patreon link on the right sidebar and get a little something back for your buck.

Ok that's it! Thanks so much for listening and join me next time as I discuss:
