Well well well, here we are again. This time the occasion is the 5th triumphant episode of the Music City Comics podcast! Yay! Woohoo! We did it! In this episode I go into the details of the curious and unexpected story: Ricky Rouse Has a Gun.

You can download the podcast the Apple way by searching on iTunes or going right here! You can also check it out at PodOmatic!

Not to toot my own horn, but this is my best episode yet! I'm really getting my footing and that's all thanks to the confidence I've received from the views of this blog and the listens/downloads of my past episodes. NOW THEN, onto the book.

Ricky Rouse Has a Gun tells the story of Richard Rouse, a down on his luck ex-soldier who is currently residing in China. Things are going pretty bad until he finds an opening at the Fengxian Amusment Park, where, it would seem, all of the knock off characters reside. Yes, everything is starting to turn around  for Richard as he prepares for a Christmas visit from his daughter and experiences the joys of theme park employment. That is, of course, until the terrorists show up dressed in faux Disney costumes and hole the park and all of it's guests ransom. This is an excellent one and done graphic novel that costs $24.99.

Jorg Tittel is a very versatile fellow who has primarily worked in film and on the stage. This is actually his first published graphic novel! You can view his IMDb page by clicking this little link. John Aggs is also a versatile gent, having done a whole mess of design and illustration works for a whole bunch of different mediums. You can view his art at this here website.

Here's the deal: if you enjoy Disney, satire, Die Hard, violence, humor, good writing, striking visuals, supporting creator owned work, and having a grand time, then check out Ricky Rouse Has a Gun. If you're not totally sold yet, then check out the podcast!

Hey! Do me a small favor and review this ol' podcast on iTunes. It helps me know how I'm doing and it helps my podcast get discovered which in turn spreads the word about these books/creative teams and that's really great. One more time now, you can find that podcast in the iTunes store or by clicking heeeeeeeeeeeere. You can also check it out the PodOmatic way by going to this spot.
